1998 Freightliner P700 Fed Ex Truck Repair
The customer said the engine was making a lot of banging noise and wouldn’t run at all. The truck has a 5.9L Cummins engine. We found the piston rings were damaged and broken, he was washing the engine with diesel fuel, and the injectors had gone bad. We are remanufacturing the engine and rebuilding the fuel system.
